Committee Planning:
Website: Mike will be adding the regatta schedule to the website in order for it to be smart phone friendly.
Food/Cooking: Jean discussed the meals that were planned for the upcoming regatta and how to cook the baked potatoes.
Coaches Report:

Spring practices: Workouts are going well. Coach indicated he was evaluating the boys this week.

Spring schedule: The first regatta is April 16th in Ann Arbor. Rowers are to report at 6:50am. The first race begins at 8am.

There will be a practice on Saturday, April 23rd at the boathouse, probably from 9-11am.

WE ARE GOING TO CANADA EVEN THOUGH IT IS GRADUATION WEEKEND.

Oars have been ordered.

We have received the launch motors.

Coach will be ordering/purchasing colorful numbers for each boat so we can identify our teams better during the regattas.
Special events/fundraising updates:

Gatsby planning: There will be a meeting at Cheryl Brill’s house on Tuesday, April 19th at 7pm. We received a gift certificate from Treetops and have received monetary donations as well.

We received $350 from Oscar’s. We discussed taking a team photo with Oscar and Maria. The team photo may be taken on Saturday, April 23rd after practice.

Mary mentioned bringing yard oars to the first regatta.
General agenda items:

Spring break: Rooms have already been blocked off for next year. Let’s all promote the spring break trip as much as possible.

Home Regatta planning: There will be a meeting at the Saline Library on Thursday, April 14th at 7pm.

Public relations: Chris will inform the high school, Saline athletics, and The Saline Post regarding the races/regattas. We need to keep Sue Stack in the loop.

Parent bonding: There will be a parent get together at the Frick’s house on Saturday, April 23rd from 7-9pm.
